Camp Materials

Check this page for the materials list for each camp. If you would rather we put the materials together for your child, you can purchase the package for that week from us, and we will have them labeled and waiting on the second day of camp. For those who wish to purchase the materials from the store, please be sure to label everything with your child’s name, and put in a bag or bags labeled with your child’s name. For items like canvas, folders, and boxes, please write the name on the back or bottom.

8x8x8 box with lid 1 Box can be cardboard or wood. We will use paint, markers, crayons, and/or paper to turn it into a Minecraft chest. 8x8x8 is the max size, and it doesn’t have to be a cube, but should be pretty close. If you can’t find that size, a smaller, cube box with a lid will be fine. The lid should be easy to open and/or remove. Still can’t find one? Send in an empty, cube tissue paper box, and we’ll make that work! http://bit.ly/1ZOfbtj

Raspberry Pi 3 Kit + Accessories

(Optional, and expensive!)

1 Kids who have completed at least 4th grade may bring in a Raspberry Pi kit, which we will help them assemble, to do some Python lessons. This is optional! If your child already has a Raspberry Pi, he or she can bring that to camp, along with a display, keyboard, and mouse, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. http://amzn.to/1URksfj

The linked wish list on Amazon has all of the suggested parts. You’ll need a Raspberry Pi 3 kit, HDMI display, keyboard, and mouse. We also recommend a speaker or headphones.
